What’s for lunch?

Duncan Real Estate on Anna Maria Island is no different than many of your offices too. We have a daily conversation about what to eat for lunch. The big difference between our office and most of yours is that our office is located on Anna Maria Island. Anna Maria Island is 7 miles long so that fact alone limits our restaurants to choose from. Since we are property managers for almost 90 Anna Maria Island vacation rentals, I figured if we have a hard time deciding where to eat lunch many of our guests may have the same problem too. Here is a little guide to some of Duncan Real Estate’s favorite Anna Maria Island lunch time eateries. Anna Maria General Store & Deli Local island deli & home-made baked goods. Groceries, beer, and frozen bait available. Anna Maria Oyster Bar AMOB Cortez is located just five minutes from Anna Maria Island; the Oyster Bar is one of three in the Bradenton area. An island atmosphere awaits, especially once you visit the restaurant’s very own tiki bar and sample the seafood delights on offer with daily specials including all-you-can-eat fish ‘n’ chips, live Maine lobster and Alaskan King crab legs. Duffy’s Tavern Home of “world famousâ€ burgers and the coldest beer this side of heaven. They are pretty great! Eat Here Eat Here is a chef-driven, Island bistro with an emphasis on local product served in plates suitable for sharing and tasting. Ginny & Jane E’s at the Old IGA Coffee, juice bar, bakery, sandwiches, gourmet grocery, custom catering. Vintage furniture; high-speed wireless. J Burns Pizza J Burns Pizza made from only the finest ingredients and baked to perfection. Their traditional thin, crisp crust loaded with quality toppings and cut in squares is what makes it so special. Oma’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant Pizza whole or by the slice, Italian specialties, Hero sandwiches, beer, & wine. Eat in, take-out or have delivered. Open 7 days 11:00 AM to midnight. Poppo’s Taqueria Poppo’s serves organic produce and antibiotic/hormone free, even some pastured meat. Exceptional Mexican food at a reasonable price. Sandbar Restaurant Another favorite with the locals this time at the northern tip of the island, the Sandbar also enjoys a perfect position for watching the sunsets over diner and plays host to over 150 weddings per year. With specials deck and early bird menus to complement a wide choice for lunch and dinner you are sure to find something to your taste here. We hope that you enjoy some of our favorite spots as much as we do!
