Duncan Real Estate has partnered with Red Sky Travel Insurance to provide Sun Trip Preserver® coverage for our guests. Sun Trip Preserver provides cancellation and interruption services as well as emergency assistance and travel services.
Protect yourself in the event of hurricane evacuations and family emergencies such as illness or death in the family. The travel insurance is optional, and the cost is 7% of your total reservation stay. Lock your policy in early (within 21 days of your booking to include pre-existing conditions). It is strongly recommended that you purchase at the time of your initial down payment. Premium is non-refundable after 14 days of purchase.
Sun Trip Preserver highlights:
- Up to $100,000 reimbursement for rental costs
- $200 per day ($750 maximum) for expenses related to trip delay such as hotel accommodations
- Emergency medical expense and emergency medical evacuation coverage
- $1000 baggage delay coverage
Sun Trip Preserver covers trip cancellation or interruption for listed unforeseen covered events including:
- Events prompted by a named hurricane or other natural disaster
- Your destination vacation home is rendered uninhabitable by a natural disaster
- Your primary residence or your traveling companion’s primary residence is rendered uninhabitable by a natural disaster
- Sickness, injury or death of you, a family member, a traveling companion or a service animal
