Welcome to Mermaid Tale! Relax stress-free in this two-bedroom accommodation which is on the top floor of this cute vacation triplex, only five houses from the Bradenton Beach gulf beaches and walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shopping. Mermaid Tale is very comfortably located close to Bridge Street. This property is a great getaway for four people.

EXTERIOR

Step outside and take in a tropical backyard with a heated swim spa for shared guest use. The swim spa is 16 x 8 ft. 100° is the highest heat temperature setting. Water temperatures may be lower during the winter months. Please note if cold days occur, water temperatures will drop and may stay cooler longer. Pool and Spa heaters might not operate and will automatically shut down if outside temperatures get too cold. While we take every precaution to ensure that pool or spa is heated as specified, weather conditions may affect the temperature of the pool. Nothing can be done about this issue. If the pool or spa equipment malfunction during your stay, Duncan Real Estate will expedite repairs as quickly as possible. It may be necessary to close pool for maintenance purposes. No refund or rent adjustment will be made for circumstances beyond our control, malfunctions, or loss of use of equipment or amenities.

There is one parking space assigned to this property.

Small dogs under 25 lbs. are welcome for a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per pet. The pet fee does not cover any damage caused by the pet.

Please keep in mind that you are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

"We stayed at the Mermaids Tale. The beds were very comfortable. With the widows everywhere it felt like you were outside. Being close was also perfert! Loved the soaking tub in the back as well. We will be back.

"Property was beautiful!! Being right between the bay and the ocean front was stunning and very convenient for walking. I didn’t realize that the property has 3 or so different units until we got there (could’ve been user error for not realizing that the pool/hot tub was for more than one guest) but I definitely think we got the best one. Our group of 4 went for the 4th of July and we all had an amazing time! Would definitely recommend staying - we would 100% stay again.

"My husband and I booked a VERY last-minute stay on AMI and Duncan's place was available (one of the few affordable places still for rent on the island). We had the top floor of his triplex. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms...Big open kitchen, living area, and enclosed porch with the dining room and another seating area. Very clean!! It was perfect for us. Walk about one minute in one direction, you could sit on a bench on the bay side and watch the sunrise...walk about three minutes in the other direction, you're on one of the best beaches in Florida. There was a wagon, umbrella, chairs, beach towels, and a cooler for your use. It was SO handy for the beach! You can walk to shopping and restaurants with no problem or take the free Trolley. We did both! Duncan was super responsive and even was able to get us in two hours early, even on a holiday weekend with renters checking out. This was a HUGE plus to me! I would absolutely book this place again!

"We rent every year in Anna Maria and this was one of our favorites. Great location close to Bridge St shops and restaurants. Dead end street so very little traffic. Very clean and bright. Newly remodeled looking and included all of the extra supplies we normally have to pack or buy while we’re there. We will definitely look for this rental in future years to come.

Wonderful stay at Mermaid’s Tale

"We had a wonderful stay at Mermaid's Tale. The unit is located on the entire second floor of the building and has a private staircase to enter. It is a very walk-able distance away from the beach, all the restaurants and bars on Bridge Street, and has a dock with a bench facing the inlet nearby (I even saw a dolphin on the inlet side one morning). Highly recommend the dolphin tour from Bridge Street Pier.

"Our stay at the Mermaid Tail was wonderful. The pictures are exactly what you will get, what the pictures don’t get to show is the space! It is definitely bigger than I thought. It was spacious but inviting. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with many dishes, pots, pans, bowls, knives you name it and it’s there. Great space, if we go back to vacation in this area I will look to book here again or one of their other properties.

"Comfortable, clean, well equipped, great location. Walk one short block to gorgeous beach park with clearest water & white sand. Loved relaxing in the spa at night and the front porch with distant view of the Bay. We'll definitely stay again!

"My wife, two daughters (ages 22 and 19) and I rented the lovely Mermaid Tales on Anna Maria Island from June 11 through June 18, 2022. We had a wonderful time and found Mermaid Tales a welcome respite upon returning from the beach or a day of shopping and bopping around. Mermaid Tales (the second floor) is a well-appointed apartment that has two roomy bedrooms, a large enough kitchen and most welcoming, a generous front porch with a view of the neighborhood. It is also located within walking distance to Main Street with restaurants, shopping and cute stores to enjoy. Although it’s close to that area, the home is on a dead end street with a pier that opens out into the bay. It is a peaceful, serene location even though it is near to everything. The backyard is an added surprise with a small pool/large hot tub and nice sitting areas. It is well appointed with all the necessities to make a wonderful dinner, and margaritas to enjoy! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to the Mermaid Tales!
