Enjoy new furnishings and fresh paint, all tied together with a festive and tropical theme! The convenient ground level layout accommodates up to 6 guests. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The living room with a comfortable couch and oversized chair to lounge offers plenty of room for the whole family to enjoy family time. Watch TV on the flat screen and keep connected with free Wi-Fi after a day on the beach or the boat! The pool area invites for more leisure activities.

Enjoy your private pool out back, fish off your dock, and relax by the pool. Stroll or bike to the Rod & Reel Pier, to shopping and to restaurants! Walk to the beach and enjoy the most amazing sunsets. The quiet, residential neighborhood makes this a wonderful Island getaway!

Optional pool heat up to 86º F is available from October to April at $150/week.
Pool equipment is locked for safety and controls must not be tampered with. Pool alarms are mandated per city licensing ordinance and cannot be disarmed. Pools are professionally serviced weekly. Debris due to tropical climate might occur in between service days. Pool equipment does not run 24 hours and water temperature can vary as pool heaters operate ONLY when the pool pump is running. Weather conditions may affect the temperature of the pool. When the ambient temperature falls below 60 degrees F, the pool heater may not function and even switch off.
Duncan Real Estate will expedite repairs of reported malfunctions, but no refund will be made for circumstances beyond our control.

There are three parking spaces designated for this property. Parking trailers, large trucks, or RV will need approval.

This property welcomes any day arrival for the months mid-August-January. Other months require manager approval.

A Ring video camera installed to monitor the driveway area.

"We had an amazing stay on Anna Maria Island with Duncan Real Estate. We’re a family of five, and the house couldn’t have been more perfect for us. The location was fantastic, as we could walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops, while also having a dock right in the backyard where we kept our boat during the week. Having both the beach and the boat right there made the trip incredibly easy and fun. The pool was amazing and ended up being one of our favorite parts of the house. Duncan Real Estate was also great to work with and provided discounts with several local vendors, which was a really nice added touch. Between the location, dock, pool, and overall experience, it checked every box for our family. We had a fantastic vacation and would absolutely stay with Duncan again. Highly recommend!

"This beautiful home provided the ideal space and location for our group of six friends visiting from England to celebrate 40 years of friendship. The house is tastefully decorated, fully equipped and had quality bed linen & towels. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful canal view with private dock, the wonderful pool, and shaded outdoor dining area. With a white sand beach just a short walk away and numerous restaurants also within walking distance, it was the ultimate relaxing getaway. It was a truly memorable holiday and we'll definitely be back!

"We had a wonderful family stay at this house, which is beautifully modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The pool was fantastic and we especially appreciated the option to be able to heat it. We loved spending time in the back yard, making use of the BBQ and relaxing at the table under the veranda. The setting is very special. The canal views are stunning with the dock to do some fishing and one of the super highlights of our stay was watching some manatees cruise by. Finally the location is ideal as the house is just minutes from Pine Avenue and within easy walking distance of the beach, Bean Point (great for sunset!) and the restaurants. Combining a peaceful waterfront setting with easy access to everything Anna Maria has to offer, this home is a real gem. We can’t wait to return!

"Our stay at Gladiolus on the water was perfect. The house was incredibly clean and stocked with everything you might need for a beach day. The appliances were clean and efficient. The in unit laundry was so helpful for pool and bath towels. The pool looks out onto the canal which gave an opportunity to see sea creatures and fish. Many rent golf carts to get around the island but we found it unnecessary. We had groceries delivered and it was just a short 5 minute walk to the beach and many food options. Can’t wait to go back!

"We truly enjoyed our stay in AMI. We had a few hiccups throughout our visit. We had to switch rentals a few hours before check in due to a fridge issue. Duncan provided several alternatives and matched the price. They allowed us to check in a little early. We had a couple of visits from the maintenance teams, but they were all very nice and worked efficiently. At the new rental, the pool heat didn’t work but Duncan was extremely accommodating on working at a solution. They were responsive to our texts about our concerns and questions.

"223 Gladiolus is the GOAT! The house literally comes with everything you need. It was recently updated and had beautiful floors, comfortable beds, a great kitchen, and a stunning view from the back. There was even a dock we could fish off of, the prettiest pool, and an amazing layout throughout the home. So well designed & CLEAN! Everyone at Duncan was incredibly kind. The only issue we had was that the house felt hot when we arrived because all the shades had been left open during sunset so we thought the air conditioning had gone out. But someone was there within 10 minutes to help. (And it was truly because of the shades!) Such an amazing stay, and moving forward, we won’t be renting from any other company!

"We arrived during Tropical Storm Debby. The house was our refuge during the storm. It was the perfect size for us (family of 4). The house was clean and the property was well maintained. We felt at home here and enjoyed all the different artwork throughout the house. We LOVED eating in the dining area with the huge glass doors. We really enjoyed the pool, especially since the ocean was too rough to swim in. We rented kayaks and enjoyed fishing in the canal. On day 3 a garbage truck ran over the water line, so we had no water. I called the property and someone was there within the 1/2 hour. Wonderful service. I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here on our next visit to AMI.

"It is the second time that we have stayed at this house and we just love it. The house is in the perfect location and is very clean, has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a beautifully maintained back yard. The pool is awesome - big, warm and very clean and my husband loved to fish off the dock. We enjoyed chilling inside during the heat of the afternoon playing the many board games in the spacious living areas. We would highly recommend this home to couples and families and are already looking forward to returning next year.

"Let's start with location. You do not need a car. You can walk to everything Anna Maria has to offer; beach, bay, both piers, a dozen restaurants, general store, bakery and numerous shops. If you want to go elsewhere on the island like Publix or CVS, there is a free trolly. And Kroger delivers right to your door. The house has a nice clean decor with everything you would want; living room with big screen TV, nice functional kitchen, bright modern master bedroom suite with wrap around glass sliding doors (great walk in shower), bright sun room with bar and full wall of sliding glass doors and the other two bedrooms are on the opposite end of the house from the master bedroom with it's own bathroom. The back yard is a real highlight with a large pool (which can be heated) right on the canal for a very open and pleasant view including wildlife and sunsets. You can fish off the dock or rent kayaks and travel the canal system. There is also a gas grill and dining table under a vine covered gazebo. It does not get any better than this. Perfection!!

"We have been renting vacation houses on AMI North End for the last 12 years and Gladiolus on the Water proved to be a great find. The house is very comfortable and well furnished with a lovely pool, garden and dock area. The covered pergola by the canal gives great shade in the garden if needed. The sun room/bar overlooking the pool and canal is a great chill out area. It is well equipped throughout and well maintained. We have booked it again for next year!

"The house was very clean and a great size for our group of adults - we never felt cramped. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the outside living space was an oasis of calm so we spent most of our time right at the house. "Stayed here in October 2022 with my partner and her family. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at this beautiful, clean and well equipped house. Spacious rooms and comfortable quality furniture made our vacation comfortable and luxurious. The location was perfect, on a peacefully quiet street but just a short walk to the piers, beach, shops and restaurants that make Anna-Maria Island so unique. The best thing about this property for me though is the back yard, with a pool and large patio area, plenty big enough for lounge chairs. There is a wonderful shaded area with dining table for 6, excellent in the hotter parts of the day. At the rear there is a jetty that overlooks a wide section of canal which I particularly enjoyed as the sun went down each evening. It all felt very private and calm. I can't wait to go back again next year.

"We’ve stayed at Gladiolus on the Water for 2 summer vacations now. The house is very comfortable, we come with our daughter, son in law and 2 of our grandchildren. It’s very spacious, clean. The pool is perfect. You can fish off of the little dock. There’s plenty of pool toys for the kids to enjoy. We look forward to coming back next summer.

"The location of this house is absolutely perfect. You are within walking or biking distance to the best parts of the island. The master bedroom and bathroom are a heavenly retreat. The pool is large and the backyard is just lovely. The kitchen is well stocked although keep in mind certain things like trash bags, dishwasher detergent and ziploc baggies are not provided. My kids loved the Netflix, Hulu and hbo max options!! There are plenty of family games for rainy days. We fished off the dock, read books by the pool, rode bicycles, got ice cream at Dips (twice!) and enjoyed the beach just blocks away. It doesn’t get better than this place!
