Don’t want to miss the Kentucky Derby? Well, now you don’t have to! Visit Pine Avenue Downs at Food and Wine on Pine, a fully loaded Kentucky Derby tent outfitted with Big Screen TV’s showing a live simulcast of all the exciting events leading up to the quickest two minutes in sports, televised for your viewing pleasure. Other Derby related events include chance betting and fun prizes to win all throughout the day as well as a bar serving up Mint Julips and other signature Derby drinks, and so many authentic Derby things to do you will swear you are at the actual event.
Derby Hat Contest

Ladies, or men, who would like to participate in the Hat Contest need to come to the Derby Tent on Pine Avenue to register and have their picture taken by 3 pm. Their pictures will be posted at the Derby Tent, aka Pine Avenue Downs. Come on in for a mint julep and vote for your favorite Derby Hat contestant. At 4:30 pm all of the contestants will meet at the Derby Tent, aka Pine Avenue Downs, where the winners will be announced at 5 pm Prizes will be gift certificates for area shops and restaurants.
