William Romberger

Broker-Associate

Years of small business ownership and professionalism has shaped Bill’s approach to real estate.  He and his family owned and operated the Tropic Isle Inn in Bradenton Beach for 12 years, transforming this island eye sore into one of the leading boutique hotels on the Island, leaving a lasting mark on the island accommodations industry. Living and working on the island he and his wife were married and had their three children on the island.  During his ownership of the Inn Bill became a founding member of the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce as well as a Board of Directors, sat on the Island Scenic Highway Committee and engaged in numerous community activities with other islanders.

He and his family decided to sell the Inn a few years back and moved to Charlottesville, VA to be closer to his wife’s parents and raise their three children.  In Virginia, he spent most of his time honing his skills in design, restoration, and construction remodeling a historic 1840’s home and fulfilling his wife’s dream of owning and operating a women’s clothing boutique.  Never losing touch with the island and spending all summer vacations here, in 2019 the time had come for Bill and his family to permanently move back to AMI. He reconnected with old friend and business associates and now is a proud agent for Duncan Real Estate.

With integrity, humility, patience and detail, Bill’s hands on approach is appreciated.  His experience in design, build, organization, finance and all aspects of real estate are vast and combined with his integrity, humility, patience and detail will be extremely helpful to his customers.
