Coquina Beach is often the less traveled beach on Anna Maria Island, it is part of Bradenton Beach. It is the last beach on the island before crossing the bridge into Longboat Key. With all its amenities, beautiful views, and peaceful laid back atmosphere, it’s a popular place to spend the day. Pack a lunch, or grab a bite at the Coquina Beach Cafe’.
Coquina Beach is also the perfect spot to lay down a blanket and watch the most beautiful sunsets you’ll ever see!
If you get adventurous, and enjoy sightseeing or want to see some native birds, cross the street and take an adventure in the Leffis Key Preserve which has panoramic views of Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
The beach is open from sunrise to midnight, unless it is otherwise posted, or there are special allowance permits.
